Lockerbie. The truth at last.

No finer example of how an idea can be planted in the public's consciousness and remain there despite subsequent refutation. Ask the "man on the Clapham omnibus" who did Lockerbie and he will reply: "That Libyan chap, Ghaddafi" or, if a little more informed, "That Libyan chap, Megrahi".

 Well, it wasn't so but  who reads the London Review of Books?
